This free training is not mandatory, but is recommended. Due to COVID-19, all training in 2021 is virtual using Zoom. If you register for the trainings, you will receive a link about a week before each training.

The Introduction to WHEP and Field Methods Training session includes time outside, so please dress for the weather and wear appropriate field clothes. If you have waders, feel free to bring them.

The Macroinvertebrate and Vegetation Identification training sessions are held indoors in a classroom and a biology lab.
